"Through the eyes and voices of the Baka, an indigenous community in the Congo Basin forests, the movie elaborates on the external threats to the ecosystem, explores how the Baka community is able to adapt to a changing environment, and especially to change that is accelerated by climate variability and climate change. The movie sends a strong message that the indigenous forest communities can contribute valuable knowledge for monitoring forest health and resilience and identifying sustainable management solutions, but that they also rely on solidarity from the number of stakeholders influencing the external factors of ecosystem degradation."
